RUMBLE
Rumble was a part of a collaborative installation made by ASU Bachelor of Industrial Design students and Master of Interior Architecture students. The brief was to create an interactive object (one of a collection) that exemplified and celebrated water, light, and community. These objects were then installed outdoors for 10 days at the Canal Convergence 2018 event, and event thousands of people attended.
Rumble was sponsored by Scottsdale Public Art and designed and built in collaboration with Erlend Meling.
Inspiration
The beauty of the desert is at its peak right after the destruction left in the wake of a storm. After the chaos, plants bloom and wildlife thrives. This idea of chaos and creation became the core idea behind rumble. Rumble allows friends to create the experience of a desert storm and the joy that follows.
